Our services are covered by most extended health care plans that cover registered psychotherapy. Please check your policy carefully before booking a session as it is the responsibility of the client to ensure they have the correct coverage.

Direct billing is not avaiable at this time

  • All clients are required to place a valid credit card on file at the time of booking. All sessions are charged to the card on file immediately following each session and a receipt is automatically issued.

At this time, direct billing to insurance providers is not available.

  • To inquire about availability and booking, complete the “contact us” form or reach us by phone. We guarantee a response within three business days. Please indicate in your message your preferred day(s) of the week/time(s). In order to maintain confidentiality, email and voice mail communication should be used only for the purpose of arranging or modifying appointments.

  • Upon booking, you will receive a copy of the Confidentiality and Agreement Form, as well as a general client history intake form, which can be completed either electronically or in paper format and must be returned prior to the first session. The forms will detail everything you need to know about confidentiality, as well as policies & procedures regarding record keeping. The forms will also include an agreement regarding rights and responsibilities, cancellation and no-shows, payment, and duty of care.

  • Clients are asked to give a minimum of 48-hours notice if they need to cancel or reschedule an appointment. All missed appointments or those canceled or rescheduled with less than 48 hours notice will be charged at full rate.

Life comes with unforeseen circumstances, however, this policy is in acknowledgment that great care is given to preparing for your session and a full allotted hour is dedicated to you. Providing additional notice allows for that time to potentially be offered to another client who may currently be in need. Furthermore, it respects that self-employed mental health professionals are only paid for the time they are in session and late cancellations can significantly impact their livelihood.

In the event of a crisis, the cancellation fee may be waived and determined on a case-by-case basis. Please connect as soon as possible to let me know if you are unable to attend your appointment.
